Prospero Spire Guardsmen by Proiteus Prospero Spire Guardsmen by Proiteus
While building the rest of the support squad I painted up the first Spire Guardsmen and while I知 very happy with the gold and red I知 unsure about the top knot. Hair is still one thing I致e yet to master, but since this is only the first model I値l wait and see how the others come out before deciding if I should snap the top knots off or not.

We値l see as for now I知 eagerly awaiting my store痴 midnight release for 6th edition!

Heh this is nice model to go for a simple guardsmen, and he has a sword? wow he's now thinking logically for a guardsman :) still as usual a great model well done.

The ammo clip seems too big for the gun. Can it not be trimmed down to a more suitable size, or does the gun start looking like a lasgun again?

For future conversions, perhaps some of the ammo clips from here could help? [link]

you need to be a little lighter on the dry brushing for hair, in my experience, this makes a lot of difference. lighter, and LOT less paint than you would use normally. if you do not dry brush, this is the time to do so, as it really gives a great feel to hair. just my thoughts. hope they help....
