While building the rest of the support squad I painted up the first Spire Guardsmen and while I’m very happy with the gold and red I’m unsure about the top knot. Hair is still one thing I’ve yet to master, but since this is only the first model I’ll wait and see how the others come out before deciding if I should snap the top knots off or not.

We’ll see as for now I’m eagerly awaiting my store’s midnight release for 6th edition!

Heh this is nice model to go for a simple guardsmen, and he has a sword? wow he's now thinking logically for a guardsman :) still as usual a great model well done.

The ammo clip seems too big for the gun. Can it not be trimmed down to a more suitable size, or does the gun start looking like a lasgun again?
