Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons Squad by Proiteus Pre-Heresy Thousand Sons Squad by Proiteus
3 more to go and the interceptors will be completed. I decided to make the thunder hammer into a staff like weapon as the original looked too brutish for a thousand son in power armour. The Omen class bolters are also coming out well.

Now if I can only get 3 more terminators and the Hidden One agent that is my Vindicare assassin done by the end of the month Iíll be set to make my deadline. Still dreading painting the white robes as I had enough trouble painting the small ones on these guys but I am improving.

I can see that you used Psycannons to make the stubber-whatsits. I am jealous of your capacity for great conversions.

Very beautiful composition! I especially like the look of the exquisitly broad claymore (second marine from the left).

I know that the white is the most annoying color to use, but I must say that you are very succesfull, the cloths are smoot and clean. The dark-blue shading also makes the cloth stand out, and provides a colder color. It's very pleasing for the eye.

What is that heavy weapon on the right?
Is that a heavy bolter?

Also, I like to think of it as "Pre-Learning the Truth" as opposed to Heresy:P

No they count as Grey Knight interceptors, the omen class bolters represent storm bolters and for the psycannon I have an autocannon.

This is some fantastic work! I'm not a massive fan of Chaos and the Thousand Sons always seemed like a "damned either way" Legion, so its nice to see alot of people modeling them before the Heresy.

You're work is as always stellar and continually finds a way to separate itself from, as I said, the mass of people creating Pre-Heresy TS. Keep it up.

B-E-A-utiful job as always. I'd love to see these in a combat. They would be a stunning sight to see on any battlefield.

These are beautifully done. I especially like the 'staff-hammer' and the reaper cannon wielder.

I refer to it as an Omen Class Boltgun named by the guy who came up with the conversion on dakka dakka. It's basically a forge world boltgun with scout binoculars for the double barrel.
