Feral Humans - Krogg Trukk 1 by Proiteus Feral Humans - Krogg Trukk 1 by Proiteus

Behold my Digga Trukk for the Gorkamorka campaign and possibly the first of many for my feral human army.
Constucted from a trukk frame and a few scraps found in my bits box. I'm very proud of it especially because the rusted metal came out exactly as I wanted it :D

I love the Battering Ram and look forward to making another trukk for my mob.

Very plain design, by Warhammer standards. The battering ram is a nice touch, as is the rocket launcher. All in all, a simple, yet interesting design. I approve.

it lacks a Lord Humongous on the top of the vehicle, with the radio broadcaster.
It looks really good, maybe it could use a bit of dirt on the wheels/battering ram and a bunch of thropies.

fantastic work, not looking too arky but still looking ram-shackle, very ncie

Very nice, but I think the tires could use some dirt and muck. They look far too clean.
GarethLorn Featured By Owner Feb 25, 2009
Addendum: And maybe a dried blood stain on the ram's spike.

I think that as they are feral humans you should go more for a "devolved imperium" theme. So for trucks make looted and burned out looking Chimeras and for Battlewagons make Looted and burned out Leman russes. I'm curious to see what combining the Chimera kit and the new ork truk and ork battlewagon kits would look like.

Be sure to make one that that tracks on one side and wheels on the other.

Oh yeah, URGE to PURGE rising...

Well I heard Inquisition players are on the raise in my area so I might get the chance to test my metal against the Inquisiton's finest :evillaugh:

Lol, well they are retarded if they don't make and army something like:

Grey Knights Lord with demonhammer and storm shield and Holocaust. Psychic hood of course.
3 grey knights body guard with Psycannon and Holocaust
4 Squads of 5 stormtroopers in Rhinos with 2 plasma guns each, extra armor and smoke Launchers on each rhino
1 Inquisitor With just a Teleport Homer (He's a useless character otherwise, but for a 30 point teleport homer and access to assassins he's worth it.
1 Eversor Assassin (The only choice really worth it, he's uber killy and will distract the enemy. If only he could have a teleport homer.)
1 Small unit of Grey Knight's Terminators with a Psycannon and a Thunderhammer as well as holocaust.
2 small Squads of Grey Knights Deep striking as fast attack with Incinerators
2-3 Dreadnoughts. 2 if you kit them out to kill tanks, 3 if they are just generic.

You can get all that for about 1850. Tactics wise, you start with 4 Rhinos with identical scoring units (Don't underestimate the short ranged killing power of stormtroopers with plasma guns too.) and the Dreadnoughts on the table. The Inquisitor is in a "Mystery Rhino" so he can get in place for the teleport homer. Basically just drive as fast as possible at the enemy and use the Teleport homer to call down the 2 squads of Terminators and 2 Squads of Greyknights, all while the Assassin is hopefully sowing some havoc. The Rhinos allow you to keep your scoring units alive and grabbing points while you have enough killing power to take out a LOT.

Skrakar Featured By Owner Jan 23, 2009
Now DAT 'as enuff spikez!

Add some more Ork stuff or at least some red paint.Diggas believe in the same stuff as Orks even though it doesn't have any effect.

awsome! great combo of the new and old Ork machines! ~Olovni is right though it looks more Orky than human built, other wise great!
Olovni Featured By Owner Jan 23, 2009  Hobbyist General Artist
He looks... factiry built. Custom damaged, so to speak :) And it looks like that because he's too metallic. Unliek orks, who particually thrive in metal rich enviroments (they are warmongling scavengers after all, and are fungus atop of that :D), humans need more than pure metal to survive. Even in combat. Simple thing of human mentality.
You need some evidence it's used by humans (who are a little less chaotic in organisation than orcs). Furr and leather skins, some type of banner, stuff like that. They are feral, after all. If they can mass produce vehicles like this, they would be more standardised. If they can;t mass produce them, that means that their metal-making skills are either limited, or reduced to pure scavenging. Leather stripes holding parts, iprovised armor, leather shields atop the carriage (like the shields on viking ships) would be common things on feral human war machines as much as glyps are on ork machines.

Hope the comment helps. I like the trukk, it's just not finnished yet ;)
